Locking technology

Surface process
for locking technology

From classic cylinder locks to modern mechatronic systems — our chemical and electrochemical processes ensure precise, durable and visually high-quality surfaces in locking technology.

Industry-specific
requisitions

Locking technology plays a central role in security, comfort and reliability — in buildings, plants and high-quality technical systems. Whereas mechanical locking systems were primarily used in the past, mechatronic solutions with significantly more complex components dominate today.

This also increases the requirements for surface treatment: lock cylinders and precision mechanical components must be absolutely burr-free, functionally reliable and corrosion-resistant — and at the same time have a high-quality, shiny appearance that will last for years.

Our locking technology solutions

Deburring and polishing for fine, shiny surfaces
During chemical deburring, even hard-to-reach edges, cross holes and milled structures are completely treated — without mechanical stress or the effect of heat. This reliably removes spangles and processing burrs, removes surface defects and creates a fine, shiny structure.

Higher functionality through electropolishing
Electropolishing improves gloss, roughness, cleaning and corrosion behavior at the same time. The workpieces are given a uniform, smooth surface, which reduces friction and sustainably increases the service life of mechanical components.
